Hi hello.
I currently work as the in-house Creative Strategist for a NYC-based production company, and I previously contributed articles on television and film to Screen Rant in addition to writing cultural features and hard news for a local newspaper based in Eastern Connecticut.
Some of my professional skills as a Creative Strategist include:
Writing, editing and proofreading creative copy for proposals, marketing materials, and any internal content for the company
Managing the company’s social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and creating both the visual and written content for all posts
Overseeing all operations of the company website, which includes making edits to copy and graphics, collaborating with developers on front-end and back-end changes, and coordination of archived media used on the site
Generating analytic reports on the company’s website and social media sites using analytic tools (Google Analytics, Countly)
Light graphic design work with Adobe Creative Suite, as needed
PPT deck design
DAWs/music and sound editing programs (Logic Pro X)
Video producing and editing pre-recorded footage (Final Cut Pro)
Document and image editing using Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Going on-site for company productions and serving as a Production Assistant, Video Coordinator and/or Talent (performing music for event entertainment)
Providing voiceover work or recording podcasts for projects as needed
My interests and background include comedy and satire writing, culture writing, the music industry, digital and social media marketing, and critique of television and film. Other endeavors of mine include years of being a professional musician for live gigs and private studio sessions, as well as studying and writing/performing sketch comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and The Peoples Improv Theater (PIT) in NYC.
